Amy Crofts is a communications specialist and freelance writer based in Calgary, Alberta.

She has reported for several community newspapers in northern Alberta, and it was in these newsrooms where Amy met and told the stories of Albertans from all walks of life, learning the important role community journalism plays in the news landscape.

Amy also worked as a producer for the regional current affairs program Alberta Primetime on CTV Two.
